Course Artifact:
The WebQuest assignment required students to create an interactive website activity that could be implemented in a classroom setting.
My Project:
The WebQuest that I generated required 6th grade students to research a specific West-Central European country. After the research was completed students were asked to create an advertisement that promotes tourism for their assigned country.
Project Questions:
1) How can having students complete a WebQuest enhance their knowledge of West-Central European Countries?
Curriculum Connections:
Social Studies, Objectives 2.03:
Examine factors such as climate change, location of resources, and environmental challenges that influence human migration and assess their significance in the development of selected cultures in South America and Europe.
Social Studies, Objective 5.04:
Describe the relationship between specialization and interdependence, and analyze its influence on the development of regional and global trade patterns.
